Just checked the Met Office website, in the hope that it would tell me that the rain was going to stop before the D of E weekend away... But instead...
Sounds good GeoBlogs! We had some nice weather yesterday, and took advantage of the sunshine to put our tents up in the early afternoon. Started raining as we started cooking last night, and rained all night, but bright sun first thing this morning when there were only three of us up! When everyone else got up it started pouring down and didn't stop! A good, though tiring, weekend though.

Had some hefty showers, but also nice and sunny when I sat outside for a pub lunch yesterday !
